Aveeno® and TOGETHXR partnered to launch The Strength Issue, a first-of-its-kind editorial project redefining how strength is seen in women’s sports. The issue builds a new canon of imagery, pairing portraits by Kanya Iwana with in-depth features by MJ Acosta that examine strength as lived experience, discipline, and craft. Featuring Misty Copeland, Cameron Brink, Ali Truwit, and Sophia Wilson, the project explores the many dimensions of women’s strength — from recovery and reinvention to motherhood and elite performance. Across digital, social, and limited-edition print, The Strength Issue treats women’s strength as a subject worthy of depth, authorship, and serious cultural attention.
The Strength Issue drove a 28 point lift in online SOV, 343 pieces of social content (49% from organic social and earned influencer), driving almost half a million engagements and an 11.6B potential reach.
